Hi. Thanks for contacting us to to let us know you’re coming to either Patrick Holden’s talk and/or the Transition Town meeting the next day.
Here are the directions to the venues.

*Patrick Holden – Y CELL, Blaenau Ffestiniog. If you need to ask directions from someone in Blaenau The CELL is the Old Police Station. *

If you’re coming on a train or bus they will drop you by the Queens Hotel. Turn right onto the main street. Keep walking until you reach the Moelwyn Pharmacy. Turn left just before here and follow the street to the CELL.

If coming on the A470 from the direction of the Crimea or on the A496 – at the roundabout take the turning that takes you into Blaenau. Go along the street. You’ll pass the Queens Hotel on the right and the Co-op supermarket on the left. Just after the Co-op take the next turning to the left (straight before the Moelwyn Pharmacy). Follow this street to the Old Police Station. You’ll see the entrance here (a kind of conservatory with steps going up). There’s parking round the back. There isn’t lots of parking here so it may be easier to Park on the main street and walk from there.

If coming from Llan Ffestiniog you’ll be coming along Blaenau high street. Turn to the right strait after the Moelwyn Pharmacy (if you pass the Co-op Supermarket or the Queens Hotel you’ve gone too far). Follow this street to the Old Police Station. You’ll see the entrance here (a kind of conservatory with steps going up). There’s parking round the back. There isn’t lots of parking here so it may be easier to Park on the main street and walk from there.

*Cyfarfod Trefi Trawsnewid – Yr Hen Co-op, Blaenau Ffestiniog. *

If you’re coming on a train or bus they will drop you by the Queens Hotel. Turn to the right onto the main street and follow the same directions as for cars below.

If coming on the A470 from the direction of the Crimea or on the A496 – at the roundabout take the turning that takes you into Blaenau. Go along the street. You’ll pass the Queens Hotel on the right and the Co-op supermarket on the left. Keep going. You’ll see an Indian resturant (Alam Tandoori – with a purple and orange sign) on the right. Just after here, on the left, you’ll a big cream building on the corner of the bottom of Lord St. this is the Old Co-op. You’ll need to Park on the street I’m afraid.

If coming from Llan Ffestiniog you’ll be coming along Blaenau high street. On the right you’ll see a big colourful mural. The large cream building opposite this (and is also on the right) is the Old Co-op. i’m afraid you’ll need to park on the street. (if you pass the Co-op Supermarket or the Queens Hotel you’ve gone too far).
