I am an MSc Sustainable Development student at the University of Exeter and also a Core Group member of Transition Exeter. I am currently working on a piece of research for my work-based learning module which aims to develop an understanding of the barriers to implementing a Transiition strategy and initiative at the University of Exeter.
I am going to interview several members of staff at the University as well as members of the Core Group at Transition Exeter and would like to ask for input from others in the Transition movement to get in contact if you can be of any assistance or have any input from your own experiences that are relevant.
At the end of the research I hope to have a document that will help shape decision making at the University and lead to implementing a Transition University program here should the findings identify barriers that could then be overcome.
The research is specific to Exeter but there may well be findings that can be transposed to University initiatives as a whole.
