Peak Oil Books

(3 posts)
  1. So I've read The Long Emergency. And I've read The Transition Handbook and The Transition Timeline.

Which all give a very good idea about peak oil and the problems it presents. But it's even better if you live in the US or UK as the authors, although giving a fairly broad view, have mainly concentrated on their own regions to explain the situation. But I'd really like to read something that talks about the area I live in(Catalonia/Spain/Europe)

Are there any books that concentrates on a more international scale looking at each region in turn or something that concentrates on Europe and/or Spain?

Or perhaps any sources on the Net?

Not seen any books on Spain. There are some websites - try this one: http://www.cenit-del-petroleo.com/.

David Strahan's book "The Last Oil Shock" deals more with the UK: www.davidstrahan.com/ .

The energy bulletin website has UK specific articles - one recently on a UK report: http://www.energybulletin.net/node/51506.
