  1. If anyone would like to join my team as a distributor of Eco-friendly products you could donate your commision to Transition. Distribution would be via your own online shop or cataloge ( printed with vegetable inks and from FSC paper ).

The outlay is £48 to join for which you get your own online shop, you dont have to hold stock it is all warehoused.

I order once a month and distibute in local groups within a three mile radius.

I sell Energy Saving, water saving, chemical free products and am looking to expand my team nationally.

Please take a look at my website www.littlegreenme.co.uk or

    call 01604 401445 for details

    Hi Sarah
To my jaded eye the "Home Power Saver" looks like a scam. Would you like to addd some explanation of how it works? Your online description seems difficult to follow for my limited intelligence but I do like to know what I'm buying into!

  3. Hi There,

I got some further info about the Home Power Saver, I have to say I havnt tested this myself so I can give a testimonial. The FAQ do not explain the technology behind the product so have contacted the supplier to send a link to a better explanation. There is a money back guarantee. I can however recommend several products: Eco Camel aerated shower head, Eco kettle , Eco Clean Ball, Footprint Bag, Bag Tube. They are my personal favourites :)

    Home Power Saver F A Q’s
Q1: Will the Power Saver unit definitely reduce my electricity bill?
Ans: EPS offer a unique money back guarantee, which proves to our
customers how confident we are about our product.
The Power Saver unit will definitely reduce your electricity bill. Based
on customer feedback and extensive tests, savings between 10 – 20% have been
recorded under normal conditions. The %age savings will depend upon the type of
    load and the consumption.
Q2: What is the EPS Power Saver?
Ans: The EPS Power Saver unit is a device, which will reduce your electricity bill and
save you money. The Power Saver uses a combination of filtration and correction
techniques to improve the efficiency of various appliances and circuits. In addition,
the intelligent technology optimises the voltage and current demands thus reducing
the total current drawn from the mains AC source. It also acts as a voltage stabilizer
and therefore supplies load with proper voltage during momentary power surges.
Q3: Would the electricity companies object to the use of the Power Saver unit?
Ans: No. The electricity companies encourage the manufacturers to build products,
which are of a ‘high energy rating’. For example, when buying a new washing
machine, there is a choice between an appliance of a ‘high energy rating’, which
consumes less electricity and costs more, or an appliance of a ‘low energy rating’,
which consumes more electricity but is cheaper to buy. The Power Saver unit operates
on a similar principal and converts the whole electrical circuit to a ‘high energy
rating’ circuit, therefore saving you money on your electricity bills.
Q4: How do I install the Power Saver unit?
Ans: The installation of the Power Saver is very easy. Just plug the unit into any 13
Amp socket on your premises and that’s all you need to do. EPS recommends the
following for a safe and reliable operation.
Plug this device into a wall socket, not an extension lead.
Q5: Does the Power Saver require any maintenance?
Ans: No. Simply plug the Power Saver unit on your premises and start saving money.
Q6: Do I need to make any changes to the electrical wiring?
Ans: No. The Power Saver is designed as a Plug & Play device. Simply plug the unit
into a 13 Amp socket on your premises. EPS recommends that the Power Saver
should be plugged into a wall socket, not an extension lead.
Q7: Do I get any warranty with the Power Saver unit?
Ans: The Power Saver unit comes with a 24-month 'new for old' warranty, covering
    any manufacturing or material defects.
Q8: Which Power Saver model is suitable for my use?
Ans: The Power Saver unit has two models. The EPS 188 model is suitable for
residential use, for up to a 4 bedroom home. The EPS 388 is suitable for larger homes,
schools, offices, schools, shops and restaurants.
Please note that no Power Saver is needed if the average monthly consumption is
    below 300KWH per month.
Q9: Is the Power Saver unit suitable for use in a 3 phase systems?
Ans: Yes. The EPS 388 model is suitable for use in a 3-phase system. However, for a
3-phase system, only our qualified electricians can carry out the installation of the
EPS 388 Power Saver unit. Please contact our customer services team, who will be
happy to assist you with your requirements. Please note that EPS 388 is not suitable
for heavy-duty industrial load or monthly consumption exceeding 6000 KWH.
Q10: How long will it take to recover the cost of buying a Power Saver unit?
Ans: Based on our customer feedback and field-testing, the original investment on the
Power Saver can easily be recovered in 4 - 6 months, therefore allowing you to enjoy
additional savings for years to come.
Q11: Is the Power Saver unit safe?
Ans: Yes. The Power Saver unit is built to the highest possible manufacturing
    standards.
Q12: Do I leave the Power Saver Unit ‘switched-on’ continuously?
Ans: Yes. The Power Saver unit should be left 'Switched ON' continuously to achieve
the maximum savings. EPS recommend that the unit should be switched off during
long periods of inactivity, for example, when going abroad on holiday, or if the
premises are closed for long periods of time.
Please note that the Power Saver unit can store energy for up to 10 seconds after it is
switched off, therefore wait for at least 10 seconds between switching off the mains
and un-plugging or relocating the device.
Q13: Can the Power Saver unit be wall mounted?
Ans: Yes. The Power Saver comes with a wall mounting recess at the back.
Q14: Is the Power Saver environmentally friendly?
Ans: Yes. Power Saver helps improve the environment by minimising the amount of
reactive power which otherwise is wasted in distribution networks, cables and your
appliances in the form of heat.
Q15: Is the Power Saver unit suitable for the European market?
Ans: Yes. Please contact our customer services team here to discuss your
requirements or see our 'sales and distribution' section.
Q16: What is the size and weight of the Power Saver unit?
Ans: SIZE: 126X138X80 mm. WEIGHT: 500 grams (approx)
Q17: I have a wireless energy monitoring system and when I plug in my Power Saver,
the system shows that my Power saver is consuming some energy? Why?
Ans: We are aware of some compatibility issues between the Power Saver and some
of the energy monitoring systems that are available in the market. The monitoring
system is designed to give instantaneous reading of the current that it sees flowing
through the terminal of any device and therefore can not distinguish between the
energy that is being consumed and the energy that is being stored for later use. The
power saver has to store some energy in order to act as a voltage stabilizer and
therefore it is not actually wasting any energy.
Q18: I have a small plug-in gadget that shows the energy consumed by an appliance
plugged into it. When I plug in my Power Saver into such a gadget, it indicates that
the Power Saver is consuming energy? Why?
Ans: Please see Q17. In addition, the high frequency sampling circuitry used in such
gadgets is designed to take an instantaneous reading and this can affect the frequency
response of filter inside the power saver thus making such gadgets give erroneous
readings. Therefore it is recommended that Power Saver should be plugged directly
into a wall socket and not into any other device or gadget.
