Bishopston Trading Co, Oxfam SW, Soil Association and Bristol Fairtrade Network are collaborating to host, Cotton On, a conference all about the global cotton industry, on May 9th in Bristol.
Cotton On is a one-day conference exploring every aspect of the world's most popular fibre and challenging us to find the most sustainable ways forward. The conference will address such issues as Fairtrade, organics, supply chains and sustainable design practice.
Speakers include: Lucy Siegle (The Observer), Barbara Crowther (Fairtrade Foundation) Claire Durkin (DfID-BERR), Tamsin Lejeune (Ethical Fashion Forum), Abigail Petit (Gossypium), Monica Philbrick (Traidcraft), Robin Maynard (Soil Association) and many more.
