Wolverton & Greenleys Energy Roadshow

Saturday January 23rd 2010 at Wyvern School, Aylesbury Street, Wolverton

Free Admission, 10am-1pm

Everyone welcome

Wolverton and Greenleys have been chosen by the Energy Savings Trust to be one of their ‘Green Communities’. This means over the forthcoming year they will give us lots of help and support to reduce our energy use and waste in our homes and community buildings and save money on our bills. The programme will be launched by EST at the Roadshow. Please join us and find out more about this exciting opportunity!

  • Browse stalls from suppliers and organisations that can help with everything from draught proofing your windows to installing a wood stove to renewable technologies.
  • Come and meet and chat to Wolverton residents who have made energy saving changes to their homes and find out their best tips and tricks.
  • Light Bulb Scrappage Scheme - Bring along your old energy wasting bulbs and swap them for free, low energy bulbs. The bulbs on offer are compact, spiral shaped, bayonet type, 60 and 100watt equivalents. Up to 8 bulbs per household can be swapped.
  • Make big savings in the first year with loft insulation through the Energy Savings Trust – they can help you get signed up at the event – no hassle or fuss!
