Transition Forums

Sometimes we can't meet face to face. So let's thank the enlightened geeks who designed the internet while souped up on caffeine and pizzas and allowed us to talk asynchronously from different sides of the planet.

In response to feedback and requests from Transitioners everyone, including particularly from the 2008 conference, we've created the following forums, all of which can be accessed from this page. These are for all transitioners around the world to discuss their initiatives and learn from eachother.

If you don't yet have a forum account, you'll need to create one. You can also subscribe via RSS to get the postings delivered to your email inbox - just click on "Add this topic to your favorites" when you're in the forum.

The Art of Conversation

Most of the people using these forums will be motivated to cooperate, learn and exchange in a respectful way. There may be others that don't. The two important things to be aware of is:

  1. if you feed the trolls, they'll keep coming back
  2. non-violent communication is a key skill - go here for more information

Happy conversing with the levels of respect you'd expect if you were, indeed, face to face.
