AirportWatch is a national umbrella movement of envrionmental and residents groups aiming "to oppose any expansion of aviation and airports likely to damage the human or natural environment, and to promote an aviation policy for the UK which is in full accordance with the principles of sustainable development".

Bicycology Stroud is the local branch of a national collective that aims to promote cycling and educate about environmental and social problems and solutions to them. email: stroud@bicycology.org.uk.

Concerned residents Against Staverton Expansion (CASE) are campaigning against the damaging expansion of Staverton Airport between Gloucester and Cheltenham.

Stroud Walking Festival was held from Saturday the 8th until Sunday the 16th, 2007, and will presumably be happening next year. Organised by Stroud Town Council in partnership with local environmental and educational groups.
