Transition Los Angeles City Hub

Transition in the vast Los Angeles basin is happening via a network of local groups that we call "pods." Some of these local pods are organized within geographic neighborhoods; others have been founded around already-existing gathering points within the community (even if people have to drive to get there). Local activities include awareness raising, holding reskilling classes, creating physical projects, and forming working groups.

Transition Los Angeles is a city hub to coordinate communication between the local pods, host transition trainings and education, and tackle area-wide issues.

City Hub

The Transition Los Angeles city hub has become quite active since its Dec 2008 "unleashing" at the Training for Transition. Learn more about us at

We try to offer at least one introductory event somewhere in the L.A. area each month. Local groups alternate who offers it. Find an introductory event.
