PLease list your ideas below; they should be measurable and it would be good to have some offbeat ideas too!:
- Number of chickens
- Amount of Lewes local currency circulating per head
- Number of cars being shared in car clubs OR number of people in a car club
- Proportion of produce suppliers' turnover that is local
- Number of people carrying non-plastic bags
SOme other sources might come from here: In partnership with the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, nef and University of the West of England explored how Local Authorities and Local Strategic Partnerships were using quality of life indicators and whether they were having any actual impact on quality of life, particularly in the policy-making arena.
nef launched the toolkit with the the Audit Commission when they launched their guidance on communication of indicators. The toolkit tracks good practice examples and includes a colourful poster highlighting the ways the influence of quality of life indicators can be increased by linking them into policy making.
The University of West England will also be running a training course for practitioners wanting to explore the relationship between quality of life indicators and quality of life delivery.
