The Power of Community - Sun 25 Feb In association with Lewes Cinema who helped us raise £500 for both films. 173 Lewesians watched a film about Cuba's creative response to surviving the Soviet oil and goods embargo, Cuba’s Special Period. The cinema was packed, lots of people didn't want to stop talking and the postit notes were brilliant - one of the viewers reordered them alphabetically and we are looking at ways to weave the post-its into something more powerful.
