Contact: Esmoreit Sleyster, 01273 475441, halloesmo@aol.com
The Project Facilitator Support group supports the people or person doing Project Facilitation for TTL. The contract is agreed with this Group, but the person doing the contract reports progress to both the PFSG and TTL more widely, for example, at regular intervals to the TTL Forum.
The Facilitation service is currently supplied by Johnny Denis; the contract runs until the middle of 2009, when the final report will be made to the funder.
Current Activity
If you would like to get in touch with Johnny Denis, drop him a line on johnny.denis at virgin.net.
Johnny's first Quarterly Report is here as a Word file addressing the period October 13th, 2008 - January 13th, 2009. Or here as a PDF.
Minutes and action points from PFSG meetings are published here.
Background - How the Contract was Let
The contract was widely advertised during September '08. Here is:
- A description of the role as advertised.
- This was a slightly amended version of the original work plan as agreed with the funder (the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation).
- a more detailed briefing paper that went to all candidates. This includes a description of the hiring criteria and the proposals required.
An interview panel (consisting of Esmo, Abi, and Kristina) convened and interviewed some excellent candidates at the beginning of October. Johnny was awarded the contract, subject to references, which have since been supplied.
At the interview Johnny made a presentation which gives an indication of his approach and background.
Since then the PFSG and Johnny have been in the process of finalising a detailed terms of reference which describes the results/outputs, how progress will be assessed and the approach to achieving them. This is the Agreement between TTL and Johnny.
The PFSG has also been developing its relationship with Johnny. An draft outline of how this works is here.
