What role do plants have in producing energy for fuel

Host: Mike Grenville

Green manure: as a way of saving fossil fuel based inputs.

Fuel crops for oil. Non-food crops as ideal for productive use of human manure.

Properly composted.

Natural space to produce: food, forage, medicine, recreation, biodiversity, anti-erosion, carbon bank. Natural spaces along seafront. Natural spaces in the cities.

Imaginative use of city space to promote biodiversity. Enthusiastic use of seaweed as fertiliser. Replenish the land balance and check to abusive use of sea as a sewage (fertility, nutrient) dump. Promote human health.

One very good thing of recent times: the council no longer uses weed killer. Very energy saving, encourages biodiversity. Solidarity with biota.
