Notes from the first meeting of the EDAP group 9/10/07
The purpose of this group is to coordinate the creation of an energy descent plan for Lewes.
Principles
- This is a safe space to speak about how we feel
- No-one is obliged to take on anything they do not wish to
- No-one is in charge, we are all equally responsible
- Tasks taken on are minuted and are fedback to the group
- We embrace TTL aims and principles
- We recognise diversity of views
- We actively link with other TTL groups
- We are all responsible for good timekeeping and communication in our meetings
- We will have a roving facilitator in our meetings
- we will put up a summary of our meetings on the group's wiki page
- we will send out the minutes via email to all members of the group
We discussed our visions and goals for the group and a diversity of ideas and practices were articulated. We agreed as a next step to contact all the other group contacts to find out where they have got to with their Energy Descent Plans and to ascertain what help and support we can offer them. We also agreed to read the relevant EDAP documents on the wiki before the next meeting.
Next meeting: Monday 29th October, 8pm, upstairs at the Elephant and Castle.
