TTL EDAP Group meeting 03.01.2008

Present: Adrienne, Chloe, Kristina, Pippa, Kevin, Hermione

The meeting was largely taken up with discussion about Setting the Compass.

Action Points

  • Pippa will go to the Forum meeting and encourage contacts to get their group members along.
  • Pippa will put out the invite again, upping the “sell”! -done
  • Kristina will work on an e mail for the contacts – we’ll wait until after the Forum meet to see if it’s necessary
  • Chloe will try to organise a very large map of Lewes
  • Adrienne will organise buying and prep of food for the day
  • Chloe will ask Andi for a budget of £250 – this now confirmed
  • Adrienne will organise refreshments on the day
  • Pippa will ask Hermione how she would feel about it being filmed and let Adrienne know.
  • Pippa to check with Hermione what other resources are needed.

It was decided that the EDAP will be played down throughout the day and only really brought up during a final circle. We will lead a discussion about what to do with the vision we have begun and ask what support the groups need. We will suggest an EDAP contact in each group to liaise with us and if possible come to meetings. We will offer a meeting in 6 weeks time to meet with these contacts and anyone else interested to review progress on the EDAP, share ideas and experience and ask what support is needed next. If groups want it we will offer a structure for how they might proceed at this meeting. Groups will then be free to use this or parts of it or not as they wish. Pippa is working on this currently. Also at this second meeting we can offer information about what is going on nationally and useful figures re oil depletion and CC.

Pippa to communicate these ideas to Hermione and finalise who will facilitate this session.
