Basket Making
The basketry workshop enabled all the participants to make a traditional English style basket to take home from different coloured willows (some locally grown). There is quite alot involved in making a basket! Everyone learned different techniques and weaves and took home willow to try and make another one and so remember the processes. One person made an Irish potato basket which was slightly different. It was a very enjoyable day!
