1. What do we mean by EDAP?
We felt the EDP was essentially about TRANSITIONS:
From fossil to non fossil fuel use
From higher energy to low energy use
From non-renewable to renewable sources
From global to local focus/empowerment
2. Can we have a more positive – less confusing term? Is it about reducing energy or fossil fuel usage? (both)
We felt Lewes Energy Action Plan (acronym LEAP) could/should replace EDP, with one or two ‘subtitles’, eg
Sustaining our community
Securing our survival
Our challenge for the future
