Transition Town Lewes is a local response to the challenges of climate change and peak oil. It is part of a rapidly growing network of over 30 transition initiatives with many more in the pipeline. Transition Town Lewes is developing an Energy Descent Action Plan - a path of action to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. Twenty group have formed around issues such as energy, food, housing and transport, and several initiatives from these groups are already underway. Transition Town Lewes organises an ongoing programme of events and reskilling courses. Click on the links on the sidebar or below to find out more.
