Transition Leicester Cafe

The Transition Leicester Cafe takes place once a month in the centre of Leicester in the foyer space at Bishop St Methodist Church in Town Hall Square.
It's a chance to get together with other people involved in Transition in Leicester to socialise and share ideas. We also use it as a space for meetings, informal discussions and events.
You can borrow books and DVDs from the Transition Leicester Library at the cafe, or have a read of any of the resources we have available over a cup of tea.


Get involved
We always need people to contribute food and drink for sale at the cafe (finger food is best, sweet or savoury, all sold for 50p a go) and to volunteer to serve in the cafe or look after the library on the day.

2010 cafe dates
The cafe takes place monthly on saturdays from 12pm to 4pm at Bishop St Methodist Church in Town Hall Square. It's usually on the 3rd saturday of the month - we took July and August off in summer 2009, so check our blog in the summer for news on our plans for 2010.
