2010 Hereford Seed and Plant Swap

FREE ENTRY
Bring your spare seeds and plants to swap. Don't worry if you have nothing to swap. You can still join in and we are happy to accept donations to the seed swap fund. Bring your favourite veg recipe for the recipe board. There will be stalls and talks including expert composting advice. Take home some seed of some traditional veg varieties no longer available for sale.

Trees in Farming
Thursday March 18th 7.30pm at the Royal Oak, South Street, Leominster.
Mike Townsend, Senior advisor to the Woodland Trust will be speaking on the many benefits of integrating trees into farming systems. Katie Easthaugh, formerly of Herefordshire Sustain Project will speak on initiatives to support farm woodlands and orchards.
This is a further meeting for all with an interest in food and farming in the light of Peak Oil and Climate Change. We hope for a lively and constructive discussion on these issues.
