1. TT Awareness Events!!

Darren is contacting a number of possible speakers for public meetings next year, including Rob Newman, Megan Quinn and Joanna Macy.

A series of public film shows would also be held. It was also suggested that a sponsor could be found for the events.

Action - on all to provide names of other possible speakers

2. Upton,Northampton!!

There is an attempt to create a sustainable development in the local area see Upton in Northampton

It was suggested that a visit is made at some point in the future.

3. Findhorn Easter Conference - Positive Energy - going carbon neutral!!

Marion gave out information on a week-long conference March 22-28 at Findhorn with speakers such as Richard Heinberg

4. Good Energy !!

Darren suggested that a link is set up on our web page to the Good Energy website, they will pay us a small amount for any new customers they get through

the website. This was felt to be a good idea.

Action - Darren to follow-up affiliate partnership

5. Investment In Wind Turbine!!

Darren interested in investing in a wind turbine development for local area

6. Working Group Proposal Test Criteria!!

It was agreed that there should be criteria developed so that proposals made in the future by working groups

can be assessed in terms of their potential effects on reducing climate change and other similar objectives. The TT objectives themselves would also need

to be agreed, one high-level objective could be for example - living in balance with the earth's resources.

Action - Plan a future meeting to discuss details

7. Every Action Counts!!

Marion told the group about the Every Action Counts initiative which aims to encourage community groups to get involved with environmental issues.

8. Group Sponsorship as Carbon Offset !!

It was suggested that the group could be sponsored by a local company as a carbon offset.

Action - Marion/Darren to set up a trust and follow-up idea
