1. Actions From Last Meeting
i. Contacting Riff-Raff Element and other bands for TT event - Action: DW Outstanding
ii. Appendix to constitution on terms of engagement - Action: MT Outstanding
iii. Opening a bank account - Simon reported that Clockwise Credit Union would be convenient for depositsbut not for current account because of access times, he will open Cooperative Bank community group account andbring along paperwork next meeting - Action: SC It was agreed that at present monies would be raised through donation. All donations are welcome.
iv. Contacting Local Council & Media - Darren reported that an article was published in the Harborough Mail. He had one reply by e-mail. Letters were to be sent out to Councillors Swatridge, Bremner and Sue Smith the Chief Executive Action: DW
v. Training - The September training course in Totnes has been cancelled. It will now take place Oct 19/20, we have 2 places booked. On their return the 2 attendees will pass on their new skills to the rest of the group in a workshop.
2. Publicity Materials
Agreed that initial website for the group would be set up on the www.transitiontowns.org website.
A URL www.transitionharborough.org.uk for future use would be purchased for the group and set up with e-mail contact addressinfo@transitionharborough.org.uk and individual e-mail addresses.

Darren is working on a publicity flyer for group, needs to be ready for the FOE meeting

A news item on the group submitted by Darren had been in the Harborough Mail edition of 13/9/07.It was felt that there now be a press release to confirm our status as a Transition Town , the 20 or 21st ?A photo of the group campaigning would be a good idea to accompany the press release, and it was agreed that we should meet during daylight hours next time at Darren's house and then go on to a suitable site (petrol station or allotment ??)for a photo.
Action: DW to discuss with Protheroe's/ Action: ALL encouraged to attend
3. FOE showing of 'An Inconvenient Truth' It was agreed that TT would inevitably develop and work alongside FOE in MH. Darren would finish TTH flyer to be given out on the evening. Ideas for follow-up by TTH event were discussed, agreed film show with speaker but it should be uplifting in nature.Possibly show "How Cuba Survived Peak Oil" or similar.Action - ALL for ideasAction- LT to bring along Brixton TT's list of activities to give us ideas
4. MH Civic Society Edward Garnier was due to speak at the Civic Society meeting on Wednesday 26/9 about the Sustainable Communities Bill. all areencouraged to attend
