TRANSITION GLASTONBURY

WANT TO GET INVOLVED?

Join our online discussion - go to the new Forum here

The Forum is a discussion board where issues get debated, events get listed and minutes of meetings get posted.

There is also a Yahoo group, it's here which is how we started before we switched to the Forum. Join this list to get announcements about events and bits of news.

You can get news about Transition Glastonbury in hard copy by picking up a copy of the Oracle.

Check out the noticeboard in the window at the end of Abbey Mews off the High St. (Opposite the Post Office.) You can also find out more from Avalon Fairshares, also in Abbey Mews.

We have regular Transition Tea Parties, which roam around the town's cafes and are usually held on a Sunday. Check out the calendar for latest news about events and meeting dates.

There are lots of ways to get involved – and you can earn Time Credits from Avalon Fairshares for all your efforts. A steering group has emerged to set in motion a process of awareness raising and peer education about these issues. We know we don’t have all the answers but we are endeavouring to create a space where the right questions can be asked. It will take all of us together – entrepreneurs, farmers, engineers, inventors, builders, doctors, woodland managers, community leaders, teachers, artists, healers – EVERYONE – bringing their skills, talents and experience to bear.

We want as many people as possible to participate in Transition Glastonbury, and for everyone involved to find something which brings enjoyment and satisfaction. Here are some of the ways you can take part in this fascinating and important exploration. If you can't find what you want please contact us to discuss your idea.

If you have a special interest or passion. Join a theme group. The list of groups is on the left side of the screen. Join a project team. See a list of current projects. Start a new theme group or project.
