Food Group
It would be great if we could have our first action group getting up and running following the meeting on Monday March 9th. Would anyone like to get involved with this? Let me know and I can put you all in touch with each other.
The Seed Swap was a good opportunity to meet some new people, and encourage a local business. The next one was requested to happen in late October/early November.
The introduction to growing veg was very successful, and some enthusiastic participants requested a plant swap as the next idea!! Details soon.
Help needed
Are you any good at designing posters? We need some rather more eye-catching things. As you see, my creativity is somewhat limited! Are you good at getting out and about and publicising events, spreading posters around in likely places? Do you attend any group which would like to hear about Transition, what it is all about, and how people can get involved? Could you help to organise the Open Homes event? Have you had any environmentally friendly things done in your home that you would be prepared to show others?
