The Coordinating Group exists to share and coordinate information. It's evolved from the group of people who originally came together to develop a structure for Transition Chester. Someone from each of the working groups comes to the meetings and sits on the group.

The Coordinating Group have also been organising awareness raising activies, such as film showings and public events.

We also hold a Transition Chester bank account, to enable working groups to raise and manage funds to carry out activities. As of November 2008, we are applying for insurance to cover all Transition Chester activities.
